The model is focused on the pedagogical criteria that define, on the one hand,the use of accessible digital technologies  for the educational activity and on 

the other, the competencies for the development of transmedia narratives that promote educational engagement in the student.

It is a disruptive methodology whose objective is to strengthen the strategic role of visual communication in education. Under this approach, the creation of new spaces of knowledge is proposed, that promote the development of competences that materialize the use of the image as cognitive technology for the production of educational materials that can be shared, exchanged and contrasted in the different social networks, making use of its symbols according to a taxonomy of pedagogical use.

Now a.blas is written without ¨h¨. This research project proposes a visual study about the creation of other realities from the known ones. The intentional edition of images found on the web that allows, from the intervention of the text, new readings while promoting a constructive dialogue.   Say other things with the textual form of the quote.   The LEGO as a constructive element that allows this creation.

Smart School System

Despite the technological development experienced in recent years and the emergence of new pedagogical strategies, fundamentally based on the integration of emerging digital technologies, the current educational model has experienced almost no change. These reasons allow us to problematize, reflect, investigate and influence in order to find a satisfactory solution reflected in the Smart Schools System, which is proposed as an educational management model that promotes a change in the conceptualization, configuration and organization of public and private schools in Venezuela, related through the implementation of disruptive practices, which seeks to change the value of the educational experience, empowering students in the management of their own knowledge. It proposes a new structure for the academic administration of the school and new pedagogical methodologies based on the development of the Transmedia Mind and on the use of available digital technologies that, due to the dynamic characteristic of the model, are changing as emerging. In this sense, the model is defined as "smart" insofar as it "learns", that is, it adapts to technological change. Thus, the academic management of the educational experience of the schools changes updating according to the demands of the knowledge society.

The Image as Cognitive Technology

How the educational system in its different levels can take advantage of this natural use that students make of the visual and audiovisual image as a multimodal opportunity of expression, to incorporate them as cognitive technologies in new pedagogical strategies, centered on the student, that allow to evaluate the construction of the knowledge from the transformation, visual representation and exchange that they make of the information received. In this sense, we are interested in placing in focus those visual expressions that have been created, designed or rather, so to speak, written to represent a thought.

Projects in which I collaborate:

¨To reconsider definitively the traditional classrooms usually organized in rows and columns of chairs and tables, before the teacher's board and the board, since they do not respond to the current educational needs and expectations. The school's learning space also requires adapting to the new contexts and resources that we have at our disposal, such as digital technology, which are part of our reality with increasing intensity. In this way, it is necessary to accompany the space for learning new methodological proposals¨.
